Great indeed is our need to love

When I read this quote this morning in my e-mail, it struck me that no matter who we are or what our circumstances are, we all need to love something or someone.
For some it’s a football team (how about those Cowboys?!), for others its their garden and the rose bushes they tend loving, for still others it’s their children and family, others their church, still others might love their community…the list could go on and on.
But we all have something that really love. And this quote no surprise if you read my blog on Loves, came from O magazine. I was thinking today about the things I love again. Some of them silly and some serious.
I’m going to do a theme this month of loves, and today its food.
Favorite fruit:
Blackberries
Favorite cookie:
Oatmeal raisin
Favorite dish:
Lasagna (my mom’s!)
Favorite meal:
Thanksgiving turkey with all the sides
Favorite donut:
Um…Krispy Kreme sourcream cake donut
Favorite dessert:
Cobbler…any kind
Favorite type of chocolate:
Dark chocolate and Cadbury Fruit and Nut bar
