Friday night football

Its Friday night and we are headed out to our first high school football game of the season. I love this time of year. It reminds me of my own high school days when I used to go to every Auburndale Bloodhounds game. I love the energy that high school students bring to watching their team go at it with a rival.
It helps of course that our high school Hebron (Carrollton, TX) is really good! They won State two years ago. My teenaged daughter draws a big H on her cheek and gets decked out in her school colors. My son just watches the game and alternates between going down to chat with friends and buy snacks.
I can’t wait for it. I hope you have some fall favorites that you are looking forward to.
