Spring Break

So this is one of the years that my birthday actually fell during our Spring Break. We went to Florida to visit our family and spend some time in the sun working on our tans.

I had a great birthday with my extended family and here’s a picture from my big day where my sneaky nephew Ryan got me in the face with the icing from my own cake…don’t worry I got him back!

What’s your favorite way to spend your birthday?

  1. Hi Katherine,

    Happy belated birthday! So far, my favorite way to spend my birthday is to have lunch with my parents, if possible, and then go out to dinner with friends, and then hang out and catch a movie or something. Pretty tame for someone my age, but… it’s nice. Also, I usually have to plan everything myself, so keeping it simple on “my day” is important.

    I like low key birthdays. I’m not a big fan of the restaurants where the waiters all sing to you but I like being with friends and just having fun.

    It sounds like most people like that. I would love it to be surprised one time by waking up and going to so something adventurous.

    This year my sweetie and I got up early and went to breakfast together….we were going to walk around this nice lake but it was raining. It was nice just to hang out and have a quiet morning where there was nothing required by being there.
