Happy Birthday, Grandpa!

Today is my granpa’s brithday. You know how some people have grandparents that are really formal? Well, mine weren’t that way. My grandpa used to always take us to the bank with him to make his deposits and then stop at the convenient store on the way back and buy us tons of candy.
When I was fifteen and learning how to drive he let me get behind the wheel of his brand new Chevy and drive to the store to get milk. He didn’t raise his voice or yell at me when I hit the curb and didn’t stop in time.
And the best thing about my grandpa was how big and warm his hugs always are. Whenver I think about him, I feel surrounded by his love.
